Obesity & Diabetes Portfolio

Over a decade of specialized expertise.
With medical editors MD, PhD in endocrinology, cardiology, and technology team, we design and implement impactful communication solutions for Medical Affairs, Market Access/HEOR, Launch Excellence, — supporting GLP-1, combination therapy, and related programs in obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiometabolic risk, OSA, and MASH.
Case Studies

Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) Screening: Regional Early-Detection Strategy

Challenge: Build a practical early-screening plan for T2D, win support from health authorities and KOLs, and take it all the way through real-world execution.

We designed a clear, scalable framework—simple risk checks leading to quick lab confirmation—then organized and ran the screening across the country.
We aligned experts and regulators around one model, trained frontline teams, set up logistics with labs, integrated forms and referrals into existing IT systems, and launched patient/HCP communications.

Economic Burden of Diabetes: Nationwide Cost-of-Illness & Policy Enablement

Challenge: To evaluate the economic burden of diabetes across the national healthcare system and guide local policy and reimbursement decisions.

We ran a large-scale cost-of-illness study using real-world data and validated HEOR models—capturing direct, indirect, and productivity costs by region and care setting. We then packaged the insights into a publication-ready dossier and a practical communication toolkit (policy brief, payer slides, infographics, FAQ) tailored for decision-makers.

Design and Development of a National Epidemiological Study Protocol

Challenge: Create a rigorous, ethics-ready protocol for a nationwide epidemiological study—built to deliver reliable, policy-relevant evidence on disease burden, care pathways, and outcomes.

We aligned authorities and KOLs on a single, robust design; defined objectives/endpoints and powered sampling; set GDPR/consent governance and mapped data sources (EHR/registries/labs); built CRFs/SOPs with QA/QC and SAP; prepared ethics submissions and piloted in select regions. We also supported data interpretation and the communication strategy, delivering publication-grade medical writing and visual assets for broad dissemination.

Long-term Registry Analysis of SGLT2 Inhibitors

Challenge: Demonstrate long-term outcomes of SGLT2 inhibitors in real-world practice.

Designed and coordinated registry analyses focusing on 3- and 6-year endpoints (MACE, all-cause mortality), and prepared data-driven manuscripts and visual summaries.

Systematic Review and Meta-analysis on SGLT2 Inhibitors

Challenge: Bring together fragmented evidence on efficacy and safety across multiple trials.

Conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis in line with PRISMA standards, and developed concise materials for internal and external use.

Cardiology Educational Program & Medical Content Support

Challenge: Development of a tailored educational program for cardiologists reframing the traditional obesity-first narrative into a CVD-centered approach — addressing obesity through the lens of cardiovascular risk.

Created a two-part program:
  • Unbranded scientific module on cardiovascular and metabolic links.
  • Branded module based on validated semaglutide data.
Work included story flow design, development of three core one-hour modules, visual redesign, and localization by native medical proofreaders.

Development, and Delivery of an HCP Speaker Training Program

Challenge: Prepare expert speakers for scientific sessions ahead of a product launch.One-day interactive workshop (15–30 cardiologists and endocrinologists) designed to enhance speaker capabilities and ensure alignment with the approved scientific and communication strategy.

Included evidence review, expert panel discussion, small-group workshops on patient identification, managing objections, and communicating patient support programs, plus an interactive Q&A simulation on challenging questions.

Scientific Support a Regional Launch Conference

Challenge: Regional launch event aimed at aligning medical experts and stakeholders on the clinical and strategic positioning of GLP-1 therapy in cardiometabolic care.

Provided end-to-end scientific support — from content development and speaker preparation to on-site moderation of expert panel discussions. Ensured message consistency, scientific accuracy, and clear articulation of clinical value across sessions.

Interactive Decision-Tree Cases

Challenge: Clearly show how clinicians choose a therapy in real life — who, when, and why — and highlight where the client’s treatment delivers the best value across lines of care and patient profiles.

We designed an interactive, branching case simulator that mirrors real clinical practice.

Real-world logic: comorbidities, labs, prior lines, contraindications, payer rules.
Evidence on tap: each decision node links to trial data/RWE/Guidelines; claims and references are MLR-ready.
Multiple journeys: alternative branches (watchful waiting, switch, add-on, dose adjust) with outcomes and trade-offs.
Teaching modes: self-paced training, live session with ARS polling, and quick “5-minute case” for reps/MSL.
Omnichannel delivery: web & tablet, CLM/LMS integration, exportable slides/handouts; localization for markets.
Analytics: heatmaps of choices, time-on-task, common errors → targeted follow-ups and content updates.

Clinical Guidelines for Type 1 Diabetes

Challenge: Adapt international guidelines to local healthcare realities.

We ran a structured adaptation program: comprehensive literature review and gap analysis; convened and facilitated expert councils/advisory boards to align on priorities and contextualize recommendations (resources, access, payer rules); drafted adapted guidance with evidence grading and rationales; and provided medical writing plus visual summaries for easy adoption.
